The Maui Palms Hotel

Kelikai installed 271 augercast (ACIP or CFA) piles using its Casagrande B300 drill rig for the new Maui Palms Hotel in Maui. We were first tasked with completing a static load (compression) test on a sacrificial pile, which passed with no problems. RVC Construction, our General Contractor was great to work with as they kept the site and drilling path clear, so we could efficiently install piles our piles which allowed them to start excavation and cap construction that much sooner. Even with the unforeseen sinkhole and massive voids that were encountered on site, Kelikai was able to finish its work safely and ahead of schedule.
